From November 27 to November 30, 2025, the staff of عرض كادي set off for a memorable team-building trip to Chongqing, a city known for steep hills, layered skylines, and vibrant night scenery. The retreat combined culture, nature, adventure, and relaxation, offering the team a refreshing break from production routines and project deadlines.

Experiencing the City: Light Rail and Hongyadong

The first stop brought everyone to one of Chongqing’s most iconic scenes: the light rail passing through a residential building in Liziba. Watching the train glide through the structure was both surreal and fascinating — a perfect example of the city’s bold engineering and its harmony between architecture and everyday life.

As evening arrived, the team walked into Hongyadong, the riverside complex often compared to the world of Spirited Away. Lanterns illuminated the wooden façades while the group admired the glittering two-river night view, where reflections of skyscrapers shimmered across the water. This blend of tradition and modernity made the night unforgettable.

Into Nature: Mount Jinfo Adventures

The next day shifted from urban landscapes to nature’s grandeur on Mount Jinfo, part of the Dawu Mountains. The winding “Eighteen Bends” mountain road carried the team deep into lush forests before boarding the cable car. Floating above valleys and cliffs, everyone enjoyed sweeping views before arriving at scenic stops such as Golden Turtle Facing the Sun and the magnificent Jinfo Cave. Misty ridges, evergreens, and limestone corridors created a calm and immersive escape.

Culture and History at Ciqikou

Another highlight was the visit to Ciqikou Ancient Town. Entering Yinglongmen, historically regarded as a symbolic “path of emperors,” added a ceremonial feeling to the walk. Stone streets, traditional teahouses, and local crafts brought the team closer to Chongqing’s rich cultural roots.

Hotpot, Hot Springs, and Team Warmth

Food was also a major highlight of this trip. The group checked in at a famous local hotpot restaurant — the entire venue was built against a mountain and as massive as a small hill. It can not only hold 777 dining tables and serve 5,851 diners at the same time, but also firmly holds the Guinness World Record for being the largest hotpot restaurant in the world.

Shrouded in misty steam and fragrant aroma, with joyous laughter filling the air, this hotpot feast became an extremely unforgettable happy memory of the journey. At the end of the day’s itinerary, everyone enjoyed a cozy hot spring bath. The warm spring water and curling steam washed away all the travel fatigue of the whole day completely.
